WaterWise of Bend
Created by the City of Bend, the WaterWise Program consists of specially-designed indoor water use, landscaping and irrigation practices for Central Oregon's High Desert climate and water needs.
The WaterWise program includes these benefits:
- Energy savings
- Labor savings
- Less need for fertilizers and chemicals
- Less mowing and maintenance
- Less weeding
- Less stormwater creation
- Less runoff of pollutants
- Preventative measures against property damage caused by misapplied irrigation
