Hardwood Floor Care
Hardwood floors are an attractive signature feature of most Palmer Homes. With proper maintenance and care, they will look great for many years to come.
A few suggestions to keep them looking their best:

Keep them as dry as possible. Clean with a vacuum or slightly damp mop only. Since wood is porous, never allow water to remain on the surface for any length of time. It can dull the finish, discolor and damage the wood.
- Do not use any chemicals on your wood floor. Use water only when necessary.

Wipe up food and spills immediately with a damp towel or cloth.

Place throw rugs at doorway exteriors and interiors to guard against dirt and grit.
- Put soft plastic or fabric-faced glides under the legs of furniture to prevent scuffing and scratching.
