greenbathroom.jpg Warranty - What to Expect Your 1st Year

Over the course of the first year of your home, cosmetic warranty items may appear as your home settles and wood materials shrink. These items may include drywall nail pops and cracks, finish trim joint cracks, and backsplash to counter cracks.  Occasionally plumbing fixtures may also need to be re-caulked.

We prefer to take care of these items as efficiently as possible, after most of the settling has occurred. Therefore, we automatically plan two warranty service visits as needed: one at 60-days and one at 10 months after closing. For both appointments, we will send a letter and warranty service request form reminding you of these visits.

Once the form is completed, we schedule our warranty service visit to your home.  You can find this form in the front of your Owner's Manual, or you can download it here, or fill it out online here.  Please use this for ALL non-emergencies.  We must have requests in writing to insure proper tracking and documentation of your request.

They provide valuable information for day-to-day operation and preventative maintenance on many of the features in your new home. Please read all instruction literature carefully, and fill out and mail back any necessary warranty documents.
